Awesome Pea: Demo Review

Awesome Pea is a retro-styled platformer where you control a supposedly greedy pea who enjoys collecting money. The game clearly wants to be reminiscent of old-school games, with green-tinged graphics and an unforgiving nature, sending you back to the start of each level whenever you mess up. The demo consists of the first three stages of the game, which took me roughly 10 minutes to complete.

The Mooseman: Beautiful, Eerie, Yet Unsatisfying

Ever since I have begun buying digital games, I have found no shortage of interesting, artsy looking options.  Beautiful they may be, but more often than not, these games prove why you shouldn’t judge something based on looks alone.  The most recent example of this is The Mooseman, an extremely intriguing looking game that is meant to explore the ancient mythology of Finno-Ugric culture.
