I have been having a bunch of Slender Man dreams lately. I remember one where I was walking around this abandoned house with this other person, and we were afraid he’d show up, and I told her that I had seen him before. And then, as we were walking about this dark kitchen, we looked back, and there he was, and we immediately looked away (as you can’t look at him for long) and started trying to get the door to the outside open so we could get away as fast as possible, but it was terrifying not being able to see how close he was getting behind us. We then got outside and started running for our lives, hoping he wouldn’t simply teleport in front of us.
Then, the night of 9/28, I believe, I dreamt of him again, but this time I was with my mom, and he appeared outside, and we tried to run from him, but not being able to see him, we may have only been running closer, for all we knew. Then, the evening of 9/29, I was telling my mom about these dreams and saying I wish I would get nice dreams, like with the delightful Eleventh Doctor of “Doctor Who”, rather than creepy dreams about Slender Man. Well, my dream came true, as that very night, I dreamt about this very Doctor and two of his companions, Amy and Rory. Continue reading The Doctor Rescues the Duck From Slender Man
Good day, everyone, and I hope you had a holly jolly Halloween, even if this post is rather late for it. I don’t typically do a lot for this spookiest of holidays (plus, the costumes I have double as masquerade costumes and are handmade and take a good hour or two to put on, which isn’t really worth it, plus I might get stains, and then I might have to buy more body makeup, and…), but this year, I was really feeling in a Halloweeny mood. With the intention of having a scrumptious goose for Christmas, all Charles Dickens-like, and a delicious bass (or some other kind of large fish) for Thanksgiving (A fish for Thanksgiving? Blasphemy!), I thought I’d go all out with this trio of holidays and do something special for Halloween, as well. Continue reading Merry Halloween
Hello, my dears. You may not be aware of this, but I recently checked out my very first PC game, “Slender: The Nine Pages” after watching an entertaining, yet frightening, Youtube video of it. This game involves your character wandering around a dark basement, collecting, well, nine pages. All the while, you are stalked by a mysterious, faceless being in a suit called Slender Man (hence, the title, which makes much more sense once you know the context).
And Slender Man is one terrifying…whatever he is. He teleports, and he can appear nearby at any time (except at the very beginning of the game, where you have time to wander freely, either until you collect your first page or after several minutes have passed), and if he touches you, it’s game over. To make matters worse, you can’t even look at Slender Man. If you turn in his direction, the screen turns to static, and the game will end if you stare at him for too long. Which isn’t a huge problem, really, as I’m too busy running for my life than sticking around to stare at him, thank you very much. Continue reading The Duck Faces Slender Man…Now Available on Youtube
