The Duck’s Disneyland Attraction Tour 2019 Part 1

I’ve already discussed my most recent Disneyland trip in a 3-part post.  And I’ve ranked all of the food and desserts we have had so far last week, as well.  All that leaves now is the best part of all, the rides.  As I always do, I like to create a grand list of every ride (and show, as the Enchanted Tiki Room is now getting a place in this list) we’ve ever been on, including those we haven’t done recently.  Keep in mind that this list is going to be generally as unbiased as I can make it.  I mean, of course a list ranking Disneyland’s attractions in order of my preference is going to be biased, but I’m at least not going to let my terror during a few of them cloud my judgement.  (Also, italics mean I didn’t visit the attraction during our most recent trip.)  So, from least great to most great, read on to discover the Duck’s Disney rides ranking from 11-21! The Duck’s Disneyland Ride Tour 2018 Part 1

The best part of Disneyland, as we all know, is the rides.  And one thing I love about the rides at Disneyland is the fact that they have something for everyone, especially people like myself who don’t enjoy rides that are fast or otherwise scary.  (Most theme parks would have literally nothing for me to do.  Except eat, of course.)  I would like to spend the next couple of posts reviewing and ranking the various attractions Mother Duck and I got to ride, including those we rode last year but didn’t check out on our newest visit (signified by italics).

Keep in mind that I’m trying to rank these rides not solely based on personal opinion.  For example, I can objectively say that Splash Mountain is a good ride deserving of its popularity, even if I, for one, would never ride it again due to that awful 52-foot drop at the end.  Of course, my own opinions will, inevitably, affect my rankings, but I wanted to keep things as fair as possible.  If you’re curious about last year’s posts, here are the links to part 1 and part 2. The Duck’s Disneyland Ride Tour 2017 Part 1

One of the first things that surely springs to mind when people think about Disneyland, after Walt Disney himself, of course, and Mickey Mouse, and Sleeping Beauty Castle…um, well, after all that…is the rides!  Right?  Yeah, the rides!  On the most part, there is almost nothing that can compete with the rides at Disneyland or any of the other Disney parks in terms of sheer detail and imagination, and we had some very specific plans in mind when we got there.

In the past, we would only really visit the few main rides we liked most, and that was all.  But this time, we vowed to do things a bit differently.  This time, we were going to try out as many rides as we could, including a good number of new ones (many of them were new for me; some of them were new for mom).  And now you surely must know what comes next.  Yes, it’s time to rank our chosen Disneyland rides from not-as-best to best!  (Just know that this list does not include any fast or otherwise scary rides.  Which mainly includes anything that looks like a mountain, smells or tastes like a mountain, or has “mountain” in the title.)
