Christmas 2020: Vintage Movies, Cat Toys, and Lots of Funkos

Late though it may be, I wanted to share with you all how my Christmas went this year.  Despite 2020 being a wacky time indeed, Mother Duck and I still managed to have a pleasant little Christmas with our Siamese kitties Rosalina and Carmelita, who also got a little something for Christmas.  From movies to gifts, below is just a little summary of how Christmas 2020 went for the Duck of Indeed.

A Festive Graham Cracker House…and Grumpy Snowman

Merry Christmas, dear readers!  To celebrate this most festive of days, I have a silly little story to share with you all!  We were recently watching YouTuber Barry Lewis make a tiny gingerbread house (video below), and it inspired us to make our own…except it wouldn’t be tiny, and it wouldn’t be made of gingerbread!  Since we felt like cobbling together a miniature house out of whatever we happened to have lying around, we decided to make…a graham cracker house, decorated with old Halloween candy (we didn’t plan on eating it anyway) and any other appropriate ingredients!

Fried Christmas Treats and Free Movies

About two weeks before Christmas, Mother Duck and I had a rather fun weekend involving the yearly Christmas festival. For the first time ever, the event spanned two days instead of just one in an effort to decrease the crowd levels, and we…well, we actually went both days, summoned as we were by the call of delicious festival food.
