Now that Inktober is over, I decided to create a summary picture for all 31 of the inked drawings I did. This was my first Inktober, and admittedly, it was a rather exhausting affair. I usually do just a drawing or two a month, and this time, I was drawing nearly every day starting September 1. Needless to say, it made me…tired. And I look forward to taking a short break from drawing for the time being. Continue reading Inktober 2019 Summary
Inktober is nearly over, and I’ve got yet another group of drawings to show you guys. Since last week’s Highlights post, I got some grey pens, which you’ll be seeing occasionally. I still haven’t quite gotten the hang of them, but they look kind of cool when I actually use them properly. While I’m only showing my best pictures here in these Highlights posts, keep in mind that you can always find all of my pictures over on Deviant Art. Continue reading Inktober 2019 Highlights Week 4
Time to share with you all the highlights from my next batch of Inktober drawings! You may have noticed that I am slowly getting better. My crosshatching has improved, plus I learned that large, bold areas of ink have a way of making a picture “pop”, so you’ll be seeing a bit more of that now. As usual, you can see every one of my Inktober pictures over on Deviant Art. Continue reading Inktober 2019 Highlights Week 2
Good day, dear readers! I decided to do Inktober this year, which is a little drawing event where you get a topic for every day in October to draw and ink, either digitally or in the traditional way. You can start the first day of September, which means I have been giving myself two days per picture. And let me tell you, I am feeling extremely tired from drawing far more than I’m used to…. Just a super quick post for you all. I started this blog over 9 years ago, and for the longest time, it had a simple image of the duck (shown below), which I had updated more recently to make it a bit cleaner. Now that I’ve been drawing again for a bit over a year and a half, however, I decided it was time to draw the new and improved Duck of Indeed (still retaining the…ahem, nose drip because…reasons). It’s still rather simple, but I think there’s a lot more personality in this new one. Hope you guys like it! Continue reading New and Improved Duck: 2019 Edition
Greetings, foolish mortals. Today is a very special day for Disney fans, for Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion has just turned 50! Being my very favorite Disney attraction, I decided I simply had to celebrate this ghoulishly delightful occasion with something of the artistic variety. Along with something else quite special that I will be sharing with you all in the near future…. Continue reading Celebrating 50 Years of Happy Haunts!
I recently entered my first contest on DeviantArt. The rules are to make a 4K wallpaper with the theme of Flower Power. Three people can win an LG UltraFine Display, while a whopping 22 people can win a 1-year Core Membership. While I actually have no need for a fancy pants computer monitor, and also don’t expect to win anyway, I decided to enter just for the fun of it. Continue reading Flower Power Contest on DeviantArt
After about a year and a half on DeviantArt, I have finally decided to start doing commissions! I am offering either half or full-body characters with three different options: lineart, flat colors, and fully shaded. For fully shaded pictures, I am also offering simple and more complex backgrounds for an additional fee. Continue reading Art Commissions Are Now Open!
A few weeks ago, I drew a revised version of my OC, Gretchen the dragon lady, which I originally doodled way back in 2009. Recently, I recreated another character that I first drew in 2009, Rouge the Bat from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. (I was in the mood to draw her thanks to my ongoing playthrough of Sonic Adventure 2 over on Virtual Bastion’s Youtube channel….) Continue reading Drawing Rouge 10 Years Later
