Listmas 2018: Piano Songs (Past and Future)

Since last year, the Duck has returned to the piano with a renewed determination.  In that time, I have taught myself six songs, all of which I recorded and uploaded to our Virtual Bastion Youtube channel.  Those videos have also been posted on my blog and listed below, for added convenience and exposure.

It’s Raining Somewhere Else (Undertale)

Organization XIII (Kingdom Hearts)

Song of Healing (TLoZ: Majora’s Mask)

Clock Town (TLoZ: Majora’s Mask)

 Mad Monster Mansion (Banjo-Kazooie)

The Last Travel (Final Fantasy XIII-2)

But what are the Duck’s future piano-ing plans?  Well, folks, here’s another list just for that.

To Zanardkand (Final Fantasy X): A very lovely song, and slow, which makes learning it easier.

Ruins (Undertale): This looks hard, but I do love music from Undertale, so…

Midna’s Lament (TLoZ: Twilight Princess): I’ve tried to learn this one in the past.  It’s harder than it looks….

Spider Dance (Undertale): Who am I kidding?  I’ll never be able to play this!

Mad Dummy (Undertale): Or this…

  1. “To Zanarkand” is on my list of songs to learn. I taught myself the majority of Aeris’s Theme a few years ago, but I haven’t had time to practice since. I doubt I’d be able to do the very fast triplet part, but I was satisfied with the part I could do.
