Once again, I shall be recounting a few dreams I had the nights of March 22 and 23 of 2018. (March 22 was also the night I heard an owl outside, which is something that I’ve never heard before, with the exception of the zoo. Of course, this is unrelated, but I still thought it was cool. I also once saw a great horned owl get chased away by a herd of crows. That was years ago. I’m not sure why I’m telling you guys this.)
March 23’s dream was actually a rather interesting one, as it followed a fairly logical story. As far as dreams go anyway. You see, there was this snake living in this house with these humans. This snake was rather special because it merely wanted to be loved by its human companions. Unfortunately, these humans did not like the snake at all, for whatever reason, so the snake decided to leave.
Heartbroken, the snake slithered outside, heading for the street with no idea where it would go next. And then danger struck as a bunch of vicious snakes began to slither out from the grass. Our kind and gentle snake protagonist wanted to protect its human family and fought off all the dangerous snakes, gaining the humans’ love and affection. Finally, a dream with a happy ending.
The dreams I had the night of March 22 were just more of the usual, weird variety. In one dream, Mother Duck and I came home to find the paint peeling from our walls. In another dream, Mother Duck and I were parked in our car with our cat Elsa. We looked outside, and we started seeing an increasing number of cats in the trees. Delighted, we opened our car door, only to find that these cats were less than friendly. Quickly, we were forced to get the encroaching cat mob out of our car before they harmed our kitty.
I never thought I’d say this, but I think I liked the dream about the snake the most.
